Good Humans 268 Inc. and the Caribbean Youth Environment Network (CYEN) Unite for Bright HACK Plastic Challenge, Inspiring Students to Become Eco-Conscious Leaders!!!
In a novel effort towards building environmental sustainability, Good Humans 268 Inc. and the Caribbean Youth Environment Network (CYEN) have joined hands to provide students across Antigua and Barbuda with a unique opportunity to decorate the recycling bins that are currently located on their school compounds, as part of the recycling program which falls within a framework designed by Good Humans 268 Inc. to shape the nation’s youths into environmental stewards.
“CYEN is delighted to partner and support the recycling efforts of Good Humans 268 Inc through The BRIGHT Hack Plastic Challenge” said Elijah James – CYEN National Coordinator in Antigua and Barbuda. “BRIGHT Hack provides an engaging platform for young people to not only showcase their creativity and problem-solving skills but also encourages youth to take an active role in addressing the global plastic crisis affecting the future of our planet.”
Each school will be provided with a standard kit of decorating materials and tools to create unique designs for their recycling bins.
In the first round eleven schools have been selected based on their performance in the recycling program in term one of the academic year.
Students are encouraged to download the “Tide Turners App” (gefislands.org) for even more information and tips on how they can help to tackle plastic pollution in their communities.
