Acting Chief Magistrate Dexter Wason discussed the ambiguities of the Cannabis Act, which permits cultivating up to four plants per household and possessing up to 15 grams.

Wason questioned how uprooted plants are classified and addressed the handling of excess cannabis.

No evidence linked the cannabis to Adams’ plants. He must pay the fine within 30 days or face up to 90 days in jail.
