Dr. Onika Campbell is transitioning to a new role with the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland

Dr. Onika Campbell, Jamaica’s Honorary Consul to Antigua and Barbuda, is stepping down after four-and-a-half years, having been initially appointed for a three-year term in 2019.

She expressed gratitude to Jamaica, especially the diaspora in Antigua and Barbuda, for the opportunity to serve.

Dr. Campbell acknowledged the support of various government departments and the business community.

She is transitioning to a new role with the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland.

Her pending departure has elicited appreciation from the local Jamaican community, who thanked her for her assistance and wished her success.
