Businessman Robbed at Gunpoint, Fends Off Attackers with Acid

Source- Real News Antigua: Reports say that a Parliament Street man complained to the Grays Farm PoliceStation that he had been robbed of $30 in cash by three gunmen, at hisbusiness place, the AO Bakery on the same Street. This incident is alleged to have taken place at about 11:45 a.m.  Apparently, the businessman was inside the bakery when he saw the maskedmen standing outside.

Reportedly two of them entered the shop, brandishinga handgun, and demanded money.

Accordingly, the victim went to the cash register and handed over $30 from it.

Further reports say the businessman had a bottle of acid on the counter top,and he threw the contents at the robbers, after which they fled in a northerlydirection.

Officers investigating the case reportedly visited the hospital in search of anyacid-burn victims, but there was none.
