VACANCY ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
The University of the West Indies, Five Islands Campus (UWI FIC) is inviting applications from suitably qualified individuals for the post of:
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT OFFICE OF THE CAMPUS PRINCIPAL
(Salary range: XCD$32,519.65 – XCD$48,735.33)
The successful candidate will be required to:
- Provide administrative support to the Campus Principal
- Support administrative activities associated with the Campus Principal
- Manage the Campus Principal’s appointments and/or travel arrangements
- Oversee the day-to-day management of supplies, equipment, and facilities for the Office of the Campus Principal
- Coordinate with staff within the Office of the Campus Principal on special initiatives
- Compose and prepare documentation and correspondence for the office
- Establish and maintain files and records for the office
- Organize and facilitate meetings and special events
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Campus Principal
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of an accredited Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Educational Administration or any related field
- Minimum of five years’ experience in providing administrative support; preferably at an institution of higher learning
Completed degrees from an accredited institution that is above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience.
