Gabrielle Thomas Wins Caribbean Pastry Chef of the Year Award

Antiguan and Barbudan pastry chef Gabrielle Thomas has been named Pastry Chef of the Year at the 2026 Caribbean Baking Awards.
Thomas, who is associated with The Vanilla Orchid, secured the regional title while representing Antigua and Barbuda at the awards in Sint Maarten.

The Caribbean Baking Awards recognize leading bakers, pastry chefs, cake artists and culinary entrepreneurs from across the region. The awards form part of a three-day festival focused on baking, youth development, culinary tourism and regional cooperation under the theme “One Caribbean Baking Together.”
