Police Probe Shooting That Injures Two Teens in Grays Farm

Police have opened an investigation after two teenage boys were shot in Grays Farm on Tuesday evening.
The victims, aged 16 and 17, suffered gunshot injuries during the incident on Station Street and were taken to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre for treatment. One sustained a wound to the chest while the other was shot in the thigh.
Reports indicate the shooting occurred shortly after 6 p.m., sending residents scrambling after hearing several loud explosions believed to be gunfire.
The injured teens were rushed to the hospital by private vehicles before emergency personnel took over their care.
Investigators remained focused on determining the circumstances surrounding the shooting. No information has been released on suspects or a possible motive, and no arrests had been announced up to press time.
