Indian Naval Ship Visits Antigua and Barbuda

Earlier today, His Excellency The Rt. Hon. Sir Rodney Williams, GCMG, KGN, KSt.J, DSc, DMSc, PhD(hc), MBBS, FCAMA, Governor General of Antigua and Barbuda, attended a courtesy call aboard the Indian Naval Ship Sudarshini during its visit to Antigua and Barbuda.
His Excellency was welcomed by Commander N. Ravikant and members of the ship’s delegation. Also present for the engagement were members of the Diplomatic Corps and invited guests.




The courtesy call was facilitated by the Honorary Consul to India in Antigua and Barbuda, Mr. Vijay Tewani, whose efforts continue to support and strengthen the cordial relations between Antigua and Barbuda and the Republic of India.

Discussions during the visit reflected the longstanding friendship between the two nations and highlighted the importance of continued cooperation, cultural exchange, and maritime partnership.
The visit of the INS Sudarshini to Antigua and Barbuda forms part of broader international engagement initiatives and serves as a symbol of goodwill and friendship between India and the Caribbean region.
