Preparations are complete at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium for today’s match between Scotland and Oman.

Head curator Noville Simon reported that the ground staff has been working for almost three months to get the venue ready.

Simon detailed the work done, including retrofitting pipes, top dressing pitches, and planting grass.

He added that final preparations will be completed tonight to ensure the pitch is fresh for tomorrow.

Repairs have been made to structures like the electronic scoreboards and the stands named after Sir Andy Roberts and Sir Curtly Ambrose. Security measures are also in place, with meetings held to ensure everything is ready.

The match is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. today.
