Runners from around the world and locally are invited to participate in Run in Paradise, an event that showcases the stunning beauty of Antigua & Barbuda. Participants will traverse routes that feature a mix of breathtaking beaches, charming neighborhoods, rolling hills, and the lively atmosphere of St. John’s city.

The event includes a Half Marathon starting at Charlie’s Gas Station on Factory Road, a 10K race commencing at Ocean Point Hotel in Hodges Bay, and a 5K race beginning at Royal Palms Plaza on Friars Hill Road. The Half Marathon will start at 5 am, the 10K at 5:15 am, and the 5K at 5:30 am.

International participants are warmly welcomed at the airport, with race staff assisting with transportation to the event’s host hotel. Complimentary transportation to and from the race is provided for those staying at the host hotel. Each finisher will be awarded a stunning medal, marking their achievement in this unique event.

Except for a few slight elevations to provide a challenge, the course is mostly flat. Half Marathon runners will cover the northeastern coastline and finish at Fort James Beach on the Caribbean Sea, offering a refreshing post-race cool down in the ocean. The 10K and 5K runners will also finish at Fort James Beach, ensuring a scenic and rewarding conclusion to their race.

Water and aid stations will be placed every mile, offering water or Gatorade. Spotters wearing marked T-shirts will provide First Aid if needed, and medical personnel will be present along the route to ensure all runners receive quality care. The course will remain open for six hours to accommodate marathoners and walkers, allowing them to complete the race and receive their finisher’s medal.

Ample parking is available at the finish line, providing convenience for all participants. After the race, buses will transport participants from Fort James back to the starting points at Royal Palms Plaza and Charlie’s Gas Station.
