Browne stated that the judging is close to completion, with an estimated timeline of two to three weeks for finishing the actual dredging of the harbor.

He highlighted the government’s use of its own judging company for this task, emphasizing the cost-effectiveness and value creation for the country.

Browne further discussed the success story of Blue Ocean, an investment made by the government approximately five years ago.

With an initial investment of less than $3 million, Blue Ocean’s value has soared to about $20 million today. Browne pointed out the significant return on investment, noting that using a foreign firm for similar work would have cost significantly more.

The Prime Minister underscored the strategic decisions made by the government in investments and infrastructure projects, showcasing how prudent choices have led to substantial value creation for Antigua and Barbuda.
