Nearly a year after a fatal traffic accident on May 18, 2023, Senior Officer Tulip Horsford and her daughter La-Shanti Cooper remain caught in a drawn-out legal battle.

The incident occurred along All Saints Road when Cooper, driving a Toyota BB owned by Horsford, lost control, crashed into a column, and then crossed the road.

The case has seen multiple delays, with the next court date scheduled for June 13.
