Police Investigate Drowning of 3-year-old

POLICE INVESTIGATE DROWNING OF TODDLER

The police are continuing their investigations into the circumstances surrounding the drowning of a toddler at Briggins.

It was reported that sometime after 8 am on Sunday, April 28, the family of 3-year-old Zyonandon Collin Hope, found him floating face down in a swimming.

The Emergency Medical Services arrived on the scene and immediately began administering CPR, and subsequently transported him to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Center. Doctors at the hospital also tried to resuscitate him; however, were unsuccessful. His body was pronounced dead at 8:37 am.

Zyonandon and his mother arrived in the country about two weeks ago from the United States to spend time with family.

The Police Administration regrets the unfortunate incident and expresses condolences to his family.
