Prime Minister Gaston Browne has disclosed that Antigua-based LIAT 2020 has received the Air Operator’s Certificate.
It is the crucial greenlight for the carrier to begin scheduled passenger flights.
Browne made the disclosure during the Browne and Browne Show on Pointe FM Saturday afternoon.
However, the issue of the delayed Sales Agreement with the Caribbean Development Bank is further delaying LIAT’s return to the skies.
