The Ministry of Agriculture has directed non-established workers at its headquarters to remain at home starting March 21 for approximately two weeks.

This decision, made following discussions between Agriculture Minister EP Chet Greene and the Antigua Trades and Labour Union (AT&LU), ensures workers continue their duties remotely under superiors’ guidance.

The union will provide updates and guidance for potential extensions. Minister Greene also announced plans for temporary relocation to Sir Cuthwin Lake Medical Centre while addressing the longstanding issues leading to the workers’ strike.

These issues include inadequate facilities, lack of maintenance, and various operational challenges.
