In today’s parliamentary session, Speaker Sir Gerald Watt QC announced that the home of Sir Molwyn Joseph, Member of Parliament for St. Mary’s North, was flooded due to a compromised roof from recent rains.

Additionally, other parliament staff and members reported difficulties in commuting to work due to flooding in various parts of Antigua.
The country has been under a flash flood watch, which is expected to conclude at 4 PM today.
The ongoing flooding has also caused trouble for several vehicles trying to navigate the affected areas.
