Michael Freeland Says It Is ‘My Honour’ to Serve in Tourism Ministry

St. George MP Michael Freeland has expressed gratitude and optimism following his appointment as Minister of State within the Ministry of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Transportation and Investment.
In a social media post on Tuesday, Freeland described the appointment as an honour and said he is looking forward to working alongside Tourism Minister Charles Fernandez.

“It is my honour to have been sworn in as Minister of State within the Ministry of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Transportation and Investment, working alongside Hon. Charles Fernandez to advance these critical areas of national development,” Freeland wrote.
Freeland also thanked the people of St. George for their support following the April 30 general election.
“Thank you once again to the wonderful people of St. George,” he added.
