A Public Works employee was injured in a suspected drive-by shooting while on duty at a work site on All Saints Road on Tuesday.
The victim, a heavy equipment operator with the Public Works Department, was reportedly shot in the stomach and foot after gunfire was directed at the work site.
He was transported to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre for treatment. His condition was not immediately known.
Police have launched an investigation into the shooting. No information has yet been released on the suspect or the possible motive.
