CLICK HERE TO JOIN OUR WHATS APP GROUP Reports say that officers arrested and charged Cassada Gardens resident Anthony Cornelius, 29, with three counts of battery on police and one count of resisting arrest. 

This incident is alleged to have taken place on April 20 in Gambles.

At the time, reports say Cornelius was behaving in an aggressive mannertowards the officers.

After being told he was going to be arrested, he is said tohave put up resistance and fought with the lawmen.

Cornelius was taken before Magistrate Conliffe Clarke in the St. John’sMagistrates Court, where he pleaded guilty to all the charges – except forresisting arrest, which was dismissed by the magistrate.
