A 25-year-old man has been charged with rape of a 14-year-old girl.
Further investigation resulted in him being charged with three counts of rape, alleged to have occurred between May 6 and May 11.
Given the situation, the Magistrate denied bail and remanded the man to prison, setting his committal hearing for September 3, citing concerns about the proximity and safety of the complainant.
