The late Antiguan Soca artist Ricardo Drue has been posthumously nominated for a Caribbean Music Award in the Collaboration of the Year category for his track “Tornado” with Viking Ding Dong.

This year’s nominees also include tracks like College Boy and Yung Bredda’s “Juk in the Junction,” and Machel Montano and Patrice Roberts’ “Like Yuh Self.”

The award highlights outstanding musical collaborations that have made significant impacts on the industry.

Winners in 2023 included GBM Nutron and DJ Spider for “Down Dey.”

The ceremony will take place in Brooklyn, New York, on August 29th, and fans can vote at caribmusicawards.com until June 30th.
