Kadeem Isaac Remanded Over Police Headquarters Bomb Threat

A 22-year-old man accused of making a bomb threat against Police Headquarters has been remanded to prison following his first court appearance.

Kadeem Isaac, of Old Parham Road, appeared before Chief Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel this morning without legal representation and was remanded into custody until May 5. The matter is expected to be transferred to Magistrate Andrew Mighty.
Isaac’s arrest followed a targeted operation by officers attached to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) Task Force in the early hours of Tuesday, April 28. Police said he was taken into custody around 6:15 a.m. and subsequently charged in connection with the threat made the day before.

In an earlier statement, the Office of Strategic Communications (STRATCOM) confirmed that the suspect had been assisting investigators following his arrest. Authorities reiterated that all threats to public safety are treated with the utmost seriousness and said investigations into the incident are ongoing.
