Ghana’s Foreign Minister, Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, and Antigua and Barbuda’s Foreign Minister, E.P Chet Greene, discussed establishing an ‘air-bridge’ between their countries during the Fourth International Conference of Small Island Developing States (SIDS4) at the American University of Antigua.

Minister Greene emphasized the government’s commitment to this initiative, highlighting Antigua’s role as a gateway to the Caribbean.

Minister Botchwey expressed frustration with the current travel route, noting that a direct flight would significantly reduce travel time.
