Cutlass Attack
Anthony Joseph, 28, residing in Fort Road, is currently undergoing treatment for chop wounds at the hospital following an attack by a machete-wielding assailant on Monday afternoon.
The incident unfolded shortly after 3 pm as Joseph was accompanying his girlfriend to a nearby supermarket.
Two individuals reportedly disembarked from a rental Toyota Vitz, with one of them using a machete to inflict injuries to Joseph’s head and the back of his left hand.
Subsequently, both assailants, who hail from Fort Road, were apprehended and are now facing charges related to the assault.
