Former Police Commissioner Atlee Rodney Honoured with International Law Enforcement Award

Former Police Commissioner receives International Recognition.
The former Commissioner of Police, Mr. Atlee Rodney, has been recognized and awarded the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executive (NOBLE) International Presidential Award.
Mr Atlee Rodney was presented with the prestigious International Award by the President of NOBLE, Retired Chief of Police Ms. Renee Hall. The presentation was made in St Thomas, USVI, during the 2026 NOBLE International Training Summit on June 5th 2026.

In making the announcement and presentation, the President of NOBLE highlighted Mr. Rodney’s valuable contributions in various aspects of Law Enforcement in the Caribbean Region.
She said as NOBLE celebrates its 50th anniversary as a Law Enforcement organization, it was important to recognize the significance of international cooperation and the efforts of colleagues outside the United States.
She told the audience, NOBLE International was proud to recognize the Former Commissioner of Police as an exceptional member of NOBLE and a law enforcement executive whose legacy of leadership, mentorship, service and regional cooperation have a long-lasting and meaningful impact on public safety professionals and communities across the Caribbean region and beyond.
Chairperson for NOBLE International Affairs, Ms.Trebor Randle who attended the Award ceremony stated that the distinguished recognition was bestowed on Mr. Rodney as acknowledgment of his extraordinary leadership, unwavering commitment to law enforcement throughout the Caribbean region spanning more than four decades of exemplary service.
Mr. Rodney has served as the Commissioner of Police of the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda, the President of the Caribbean Association of Commissioners of Police (ACCP) , a Regional Director on the Board of Directors of the International Association of Chief of Police ( IACP) and presently holds the position as Deputy Executive Director at the Regional Security System (RSS) Headquarters.
In accepting the Award, the Former Commissioner stated that he was indeed humbled by the recognition and expressed great appreciation for the award from such a highly respected Organization such as NOBLE.
He used the opportunity to express gratitude to all those who have contributed to his development and for the opportunities given to him to serve the Caribbean Community.
He was of high praise for his family, his mentors and individuals and organizations who assisted him in his journey in law enforcement. He also pledged his commitment to continue to contribute to the safety and security of the Caribbean region.
The present Commissioner of Police Mr. Everton Jeffers, has extended his congratulations to Mr. Rodney for his dedicated years of service and views the international recognition as a proud moment for the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda.
