Elvis Weaver, former Fire Chief, has been honored with the King’s Fire Service Medal after 43 years of dedicated service.

As the first recipient from Antigua and Barbuda under King Charles III’s reign, Weaver’s achievement marks a significant milestone.

At the award ceremony, officials commended Weaver’s contributions, noting his impact on the fire service’s progress and his role as a mentor.

Weaver expressed his gratitude, stating, “It’s incredibly rewarding to be recognized for my years of hard work.” He views becoming Fire Chief as his greatest accomplishment and plans to spend his retirement farming.
