Driver escapes serious injury when cement-mixer truck overturns onconstruction site at Sugar Ridge
A truck driver continues to nurse minor injuries after he was involved in amishap while driving a concrete-mixer truck. Reports say the truckoverturned as the driver was trying to maneuver the vehicle down a slope.
Further reports are that the Freeman’s Village man was delivering concrete toa construction site at Sugar Ridge on Thursday, May 30, at about 12:30 p.m.While he was reversing, the truck became unbalanced, tipped to the side andoverturned onto its side. The driver had to be transported to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre fortreatment, but, fortunately, he escaped serious injury.
