Denushka H. Gibbs Tops 2026 Grade Six National Assessment

Denushka H. Gibbs of Minoah Magnet Primary School has been named the top student in the 2026 Grade Six National Assessment, earning the highest score nationwide with 383 marks.

The announcement was made by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, which congratulated Gibbs on her outstanding performance and described her achievement as a testament to her hard work, determination and commitment to excellence.

“Your exceptional achievement is a testament to your hard work, determination, and commitment to excellence. You have made your school, your family, and the nation proud,” the ministry said.

The ministry also extended congratulations to Gibbs’ parents, teachers, school administrators and everyone who supported her throughout her educational journey, expressing confidence that her accomplishment would inspire other students.

The announcement accompanied the release of the official Top 100 students in the 2026 Grade Six National Assessment.

Marlensky J. Salien of Antigua Baptist Academy placed second overall with 382 marks, making him the top male student, while Necasia B. Ralph of J.T. Ambrose Primary School finished third overall with 377 marks, making her the highest-performing student from a government primary school.

Education Minister Daryll S. Matthew also congratulated students, parents, teachers and school communities on the release of the results and noted that Post Millennial Academy had the highest representation in the national Top 100, with 12 students.
