Daniel Cadet Remembered for Lifelong Contribution to Tourism

The Antigua and Barbuda Hotel and Tourism Association (ABHTA) has paid tribute to veteran tourism professional Daniel Cadet, whose decades of service helped shape the hospitality industry in Antigua and Barbuda and across the Caribbean.
In a statement issued on Sunday, the association described Cadet as a distinguished industry leader whose contributions spanned tourism, education and labour relations.
According to the ABHTA, Cadet held leadership positions at several hospitality establishments throughout his career and played a significant role in the development of the tourism sector. The association also highlighted his involvement with the Antigua and Barbuda Hospitality Training Institute, where his mentorship and commitment to professional development influenced countless individuals entering the industry.

The organization said Cadet’s vision, leadership and dedication to excellence left a lasting impact on both institutions and professionals within the hospitality field.
“Mr. Cadet will be remembered as a respected leader, mentor, colleague, and friend whose legacy will continue to inspire future generations,” the statement said.
The association extended condolences to his wife, children, grandchildren, relatives, friends and former colleagues.
Cadet is being remembered as a key figure in the advancement of hospitality and tourism in Antigua and Barbuda, leaving behind a legacy of service and professional excellence.
