The City & Guilds of London Institute offers a full range of further education qualifications, including some qualifications at higher levels on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) from Levels 4 to

The City & Guilds 9200 Professional Recognitions Award (PRA) qualifications are one of these and are a higher- level qualification regulated by Ofqual in England at RQF Levels 4, 5, 6 and 7.
To achieve a Level 6 PRA qualification for example, candidates must demonstrate attainment, through career progress over time. This is equivalent to that of someone who has achieved a bachelor’s degree with subsequent years of experience.

We do hope that this clarifies our Professional Recognition Awards, which have been successfully supporting career pathways for learners globally for many years. If anything remains unclear, please do not hesitate to contact City & Guilds and we will be happy to assist.

Yours sincerely

Alan Howard
