He placed a call to the Police from the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre, reporting the matter, at about 4 a.m.that same morning. When officers went to the hospital, they met the victim sitting in a wheelchairwith a bleeding wound to his left foot, which was wrapped in a towel. Reportedly, while he and the alleged perpetrator were playing a card game formoney in the Perry Bay area, an altercation ensued, and the alleged offenderused a stone to inflict the wound.
