Candlelight Vigil to Protest Animal Abuse

Friday, March 22nd, 5:30pm, Outside Police Headquarters on American Road

Antigua’s animal lovers and advocates are coming together for a candlelight vigil on Friday, March 22nd, at 5:30pm, outside Police Headquarters on American Road.

The vigil, organized by the Dogs & Cats of Antigua Animal Foundation, aims to honor the memory of hundreds of thousands of animals that have tragically lost their lives due to abuse, vehicular strikes, poisoning, and starvation.

The event also serves as a call to action, urging authorities to enforce animal welfare laws and prosecute all abusers.

“Let’s remember the hundreds of thousands of animals that have died fromabuse, vehicular strikes, poisoning and starvation. Let’s vow to put an endto this in our lifetime. Let’s pressure the authorities to enforce the lawsand prosecute all abusers.”

Participants are encouraged to join in solidarity and vow to work towards putting an end to animal abuse in their lifetime.

The vigil promises to be a poignant and meaningful gathering, highlighting the importance of compassion and empathy towards animals. All are welcome to attend and show their support for this crucial cause.
