The Booby Alley housing project, long delayed, is now slated to start construction in August. Prime Minister Gaston Browne has presented the project to the Tenders Board for selecting a construction firm, expected to take two months with a final choice in June.

Once contractors are selected, construction should begin within 60 days. Financed by China with a $100 million grant, the project faced delays from the pandemic and resident relocation issues.

After resolving these issues, MP Browne highlighted the project’s importance in alleviating congestion and improving housing quality, with resident consultations planned.

Meanwhile, Michael Joseph seeks funding from the Prime Minister for a housing development in Yeptons, starting with around ninety homes.
