ASC To Host Information Session for Parents
St. John’s, Antigua Barbuda -May 8th 2024 – The Antigua State College is thrilled to announce its upcoming informational session tailored to parents. The event titled, College Connect: A Parent’s Guide to Their Child’s College Success will take place on Thursday 23rd May 2024, 5:30 pm at the College’s Auditorium.
The Antigua State College understands the importance of parental involvement in this process and aims to provide them with the knowledge and resources needed to support their child’s educational journey. Navigating college life can be daunting for students transitioning from secondary school and this session will attempt to simplify the journey.
During the session parents will gain insights on the following topics:
“Navigating Admissions: Mastering the Application Process” A step-by-step guide on how to successfully complete the application.
“Next Steps: What Happens After Submission?” Learn what happens after submitting the application and what the next stages are.
“Programme Deep Dive: Finding the Right Academic Path” A comprehensive exploration of the programs offered and how they align with career goals.
“Financial Fundamentals: Key Insights for Your College Budget” An informative discussion on tuition, fees, and budgeting to help you confidently plan for September 2024.
Parents are invited to come prepared with questions and/or concerns and to engage in meaningful conversation.
