Antigua and Barbuda Invited to Shape Revised CARICOM Regional Quality Policy

Public sector stakeholders in Antigua and Barbuda are being invited to participate in a consultation on proposed revisions to the CARICOM Regional Quality Policy (RQP).
The Ministry of Trade and Investment said the consultation is being hosted by the Caribbean Regional Organisation for Standards and Quality (CROSQ) under a United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) ACP project.
According to the ministry, the exercise is intended to present proposed changes to the regional policy, gather stakeholder feedback on the draft document, and validate strategic priorities identified through research.

The public sector consultation is scheduled for June 18 from 10 a.m. to noon, while a separate session for private sector stakeholders will be held on June 19.
Organizers said the revised policy is expected to strengthen the regional quality infrastructure framework and support improvements in standards, conformity assessment and competitiveness across CARICOM member states.
