UPDATED: Sheldon Diaz Killed in All Saints Incident; Two Detained
Police have detained two people as investigations continue into the death of Sheldon Diaz following a deadly confrontation in the Mack Pond Squatter area east of All Saints on Thursday.
Diaz, a resident of All Saints, died after sustaining multiple injuries during the incident, according to preliminary reports.
Authorities confirmed that a man and a woman are in custody while investigators work to establish the circumstances surrounding the killing.
Witnesses reported that Diaz was allegedly assaulted with sharp weapons and attempted to escape before collapsing in a nearby yard. Several residents said the confrontation continued after he fled.
Police have not released further details and investigations remain ongoing.
