Axleigh Akez Captures Grant Thornton Accounting and Business Awards

Axleigh Akez has added another distinction to her academic record after receiving Grant Thornton’s Accounting and Business Awards for her performance in the 2025 CSEC examinations.
The former Ottos Comprehensive School student, who was named the school’s top CSEC performer for 2025, received both honours during a recent presentation at the accounting firm’s Old Parham Road offices.
Akez has since moved on to the Antigua and Barbuda College of Advanced Studies (ABCAS), where she is a second-year student in the School of Business and Accounting.
Grant Thornton presents the awards annually to recognise strong achievement and encourage students interested in careers in accounting and business.
Akez thanked Jehovah God for her success and said she intends to remain focused on her academic and professional goals.
Her family and loved ones have also celebrated the achievement and expressed their continued support.
