JOB VACANCY: Heavy-Duty Superintendent

Caribbean Premium Motors Ltd., one of Antigua & Barbuda’s leading automotive dealerships, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Heavy-Duty Superintendent to provide strategic and operational leadership for its Heavy-Duty Service Division.
This senior leadership position is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of commercial trucks, buses, heavy equipment and government fleets while ensuring the highest standards of customer service, workshop productivity, technical excellence and profitability.
The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening one of the Company’s fastest-growing business units and will work closely with senior management to ensure the division consistently delivers exceptional service to both public and private sector clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction for the Heavy-Duty Service Division.
- Manage workshop operations to maximize productivity, efficiency and profitability.
- Supervise and develop technicians and support personnel.
- Ensure the timely diagnosis, repair and maintenance of heavy-duty vehicles and equipment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government and commercial fleet customers.
- Monitor key performance indicators, work-in-progress and workshop quality standards.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
Applicants should possess:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Automotive Technology, Management or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing a heavy-duty workshop or commercial fleet maintenance operation.
- Strong leadership, planning and people management skills.
- Excellent technical knowledge of heavy-duty trucks, buses and commercial equipment.
- Proven ability to improve productivity, customer satisfaction and financial performance.
