Veteran Police Officer and Calypsoian Completes Legal Studies

Corporal Jermaine Samuel, a veteran Police Officer in the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda and well known Calypso icon, who performs under the sobriquet “King Singing Sudden.”  successfully attaining his Legal Education Certificate (LEC) from the Eugene Dupuch Law School, Council of Legal Education, in the Commonwealth of The Bahamas and completes his Legal Studies. 

Samuel,  a dedicated Law Enforcement Officer with an impressive 24 years of service, has consistently demonstrated professionalism, commitment, and excellence in the execution of his duties. Over the years, he has garnered extensive experience in prosecution and is presently attached to the Criminal Investigation Department, where his contributions continue to be invaluable.

 Prior to achieving this significant milestone, Officer Samuel distinguished himself academically, earning a Bachelor of Laws (LLB (Hons)) from the University of Wales, along with a Postgraduate Diploma in Law  from the University of Wolverhampton. He is also a Member of the Middle Temple of Law in the United Kingdom. His academic journey reflects not only intellectual discipline but also a deep commitment to the advancement of justice and the rule of law.  

Officer Samuel, now an Attorney in Waiting, and awaits his call to the Bar. It  is anticipated that he will continue to make significant contributions to the Courts and the broader justice system of Antigua and Barbuda.
