Jamaicans Urged to Take Advantage of Antigua and Barbuda’s Immigration Amnesty

Caridocs Urges Jamaicans to Take Advantage of Antigua and Barbuda’s Amnesty Programme
In light of the Government of Antigua and Barbuda’s Amnesty Programme for non-nationals residing in the country, Principal Consultant of Caridocs, Nevoy Morrison, is once again encouraging Jamaicans living in Antigua and Barbuda to take full advantage of this opportunity to regularize their immigration status.
“This opportunity only comes once every five years and provides eligible individuals with the chance to become regularized, giving them greater security and peace of mind. I strongly encourage every Jamaican who qualifies not to wait until the last minute to begin the process,” Morrison said.
Caridocs remains committed to supporting Jamaicans by assisting with the procurement and processing of the key documents required for the amnesty application. The company offers professional assistance in obtaining:
- Jamaican Police Record
- Jamaican Birth Certificate
- Apostille for the Police Record
- Apostille for the Birth Certificate
Understanding that many individuals and families are experiencing financial challenges, Caridocs has introduced a flexible payment option to make the process more affordable. Clients are only required to pay 70% of the total cost to commence the application process, with the remaining 30% payable once the completed documents arrive in Antigua and Barbuda.
Applicants are also encouraged to begin the process as early as possible, as document processing and delivery can take up to 15 working days to be completed and returned to Antigua and Barbuda.
At this time, passport application services are temporarily on hold due to the increased complexity of the passport application process. However, Caridocs remains available to provide guidance and general information to individuals seeking assistance with passport-related requirements.
“Our mission is to make the document procurement process as smooth, professional, and accessible as possible. We understand the importance of this amnesty programme and are committed to helping Jamaicans obtain the documents they need in a timely manner. We encourage everyone who intends to apply to begin gathering their required documents now rather than waiting until the deadline approaches,” Morrison added.
