3 charged for gun, bullets and weed

THREE PEOPLE CHARGED IN CONNECTION WITH FIREARM, AMMUNITION, AND CANNABIS OFFENCES
St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, Tuesday, May 19, 2026

Three individuals have been arrested and formally charged in connection with firearm, ammunition, and cannabis-related offences following a series of police operations conducted in the Red Hill community.
The charges stem from several search operations carried out during the early morning hours of Monday, May 18, by officers attached to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) Task Force, Gang and Guns Suppression Unit, Special Services Unit, and K-9 Unit.
Embert St. Ange of Red Hill was charged with Unlawful Possession of Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, and Unlawful Possession of Cannabis.
Police seized one black and silver Ruger .380 auto pistol, fourteen rounds of .380 ammunition, one round of 9mm ammunition, and approximately one pound of cannabis during the operation.
Meanwhile, 38-year-old Gael St. Ange of Red Hill was separately charged with Unlawful Possession of 113 grams of Cannabis.
He was further jointly charged along with 28-year-old Tamisha Cyrille, also of Red Hill with Unlawful Possession of 3.8 pounds of Cannabis and Unlawful Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Transfer.
The accused are expected to appear before the court at a later date.
The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda continues to intensify its operations aimed at removing illegal firearms, ammunition, and controlled drugs from the streets, while maintaining public safety.
