A man has been jailed for 8.5 years after admitting to a violent robbery involving an elderly couple at their Villa home in 2022.
Rickardo Bussawan pleaded guilty to three counts of aggravated robbery following the attack on James and Elizabeth Lewis on April 6.
Court records show that Bussawan, along with two accomplices, tied up the victims and their friend with duct tape before stealing valuables including $10,000 worth of jewelry, electronic devices, and cash.
The co-accused, Delon Wills and Michael Carr, will appear in court on February 3 to set trial dates. Bussawan’s sentence will run concurrently, with credit for time served.
