VACANCY CLERICAL ASSISTANT

The University of the West Indies, Five Islands Campus (UWI FIC) is inviting applications from suitably qualified individuals for the post of:

CLERICAL ASSISTANT

LIFELONG LEARNING UNIT

(Salary Range: XCD $27,099.51 – XCD $33,843.73)

The successful candidate will be required to:

• Maintaining records, files, and information systems.
• Retrieving documents (e.g., mark sheets, application forms).
• Receiving and processing student/customer documents.
• Collating and dispatching documents.
• Assisting with office supplies requisitions.
• Disseminating information to customers.
• Assisting with preparation for seminars, conferences, and award ceremonies.
• Operating telephones and handling routine enquiries.
• Assisting with travel and itinerary arrangements as needed.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

• Five (5) CXC/GCE O’ Level subjects, including Mathematics and English Language.
• Three (3) years’ job-related experience.
• Excellent computer, internet, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in a busy, customer-focused environment.
