


Two male suspects are currently in police custody in connection with a report of robbery.
Sometime after 8:30 pm on Tuesday, March 25, the police responded to a report at the Foodland Mini-Mart on DeSouza Road, where two armed masked assailants reportedly robbed the cashier of an undisclosed amount of money and a mobile phone.
One assailant was wearing a dark blue long-sleeved hoodie, cream long pants, and a black ski mask, while the other was dressed in a black long-sleeved shirt, black long pants, and a white t-shirt covering his face.
Both suspects were described as slim. One is approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall and the other about 5 feet 10 inches tall. They both fled the scene on foot in a northern direction.
During a mobile patrol, police intercepted a gray Honda Fit motor carrying a rental license plate with two male occupants. A Liberta resident and a man from Cedar Valley were arrested on suspicion of robbery and taken into custody for questioning. Further investigations are ongoing.
