Turner Highlights St. Peter Development Plans Ahead of By-Election

Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP) candidate for St. Peter, Rawdon Turner, detailed his efforts to improve the constituency as he campaigns for Tuesday’s by-election. Turner noted the commencement of land cleaning, infrastructure planning, and roadwork assessments, emphasizing his advocacy to expedite these projects. “If I didn’t push for it, none of this would have started before the by-election,” he said, recounting a full-day tour with the Minister inspecting roads and other infrastructure.

Turner also outlined his vision for Parham Harbour, aiming to create facilities similar to Falmouth’s yachting hub, stating, “This would be a win-win for everyone.”

Prime Minister Gaston Browne called the by-election following the passing of Independent MP Asot Michael. Turner revealed his campaign has merged with Michael’s team, highlighting Michael’s enduring connection to the ABLP and expressing confidence that the seat will remain with the party.
