THREE SUSPECTS ARRESTED IN CONNECTION WITH ALLEGED BANK FRAUD INVESTIGATIONS
St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, Tuesday, May 19, 2026

Police have arrested three individuals in connection with ongoing investigations into a series of alleged fraudulent transactions discovered at a local bank.
The incidents were reported to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) on separate occasions between May 12 and May 18, 2026, after irregular and unauthorized transactions were detected at different branches of the bank.
Following investigations, three suspects were taken into police custody on suspicion of fraud. The arrests were made after officers visited the respective locations and obtained certain information in relation to the ongoing investigations.
The suspects remain in police custody pending further investigations.
