Three more Antiguan students graduate from Cuban medical school

Three students from Antigua and Barbuda recently celebrated their successful completion of medical studies, graduating from one of the esteemed Medical Universities in Granma, Cuba, specifically the Universidad de Ciencias Médicas de Granma.

The newly minted doctors are Dr. DeAndrea A.P. Grannum, Dr. Debresia L. Lewis, and Dr. Travane T. Lynch, who were awarded scholarships to pursue their medical education in Cuba in 2017.

Their academic journey commenced with six months dedicated to learning Spanish, followed by an additional six months of pre-medical coursework.
