State of Palestine names first-ever Ambassador to Antigua and Barbuda

Her Excellency Linda Sobeh Ali, the first Palestinian Ambassador to Antigua and Barbuda, officially presented her credentials to Governor General Sir Rodney Williams, shedding light on the “human catastrophe of unprecedented scale” in Gaza, where “entire families have been wiped off the civil register.”

She expressed deep gratitude for Antigua’s “long-standing support of Palestine in the international arena” and urged stronger ties between the nations.

Sir Rodney warmly received the Ambassador, emphasizing a shared hope for peace.

“The conflicts within the Middle East are disturbing and heart-wrenching,” he said, adding that he is “hopeful that all sides can swiftly assemble at the negotiating table to bring an end to this conflict that has affected millions.”
