St. Joseph’s Academy Interact Club Continues Season of Giving with Donation to Antigua and Barbuda Red Cross

The Interact Club of St. Joseph’s Academy (SJA) continues to make a meaningful impact in the community through a series of charitable initiatives as part of its ongoing “Season of Giving.”
On Wednesday, 11 February, the club donated a collection of used clothing items to the Antigua and Barbuda Red Cross. The items will support the organization’s thrift store, which plays a vital role in assisting individuals and families in need across the island. The clothing drive was entirely organized and executed by the Interactors, who solicited donations from their peers and the wider school community.
Earlier this term, the SJA Interact Club launched its giving initiatives with a gesture of appreciation to the doctors at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre, presenting them with a donation of donuts in recognition of their dedication and service to the nation’s healthcare system.
The club later partnered with its sister organization, the Interact Club of Christ the King School, to further support the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre. Together, the students donated bedding, curtains, clocks, and electric kettles to the Pediatric Ward, contributing to the comfort and well-being of young patients and their families.
Through these efforts, the Interact Club of St. Joseph’s Academy continues to exemplify the spirit of service above self, demonstrating leadership, compassion, and a strong commitment to community development.
