Showers Persist as Old Cold Front Stalls Near Antigua
Antigua continues to experience wet conditions as an old cold front lingers nearly stationary in the region, according to Forecaster Dale Destin.
Over the past 24 hours, many parts of the island have recorded rainfall exceeding an inch.
While residents can expect more showers today, Destin noted that the likelihood of rain diminishes heading into the weekend, with the chance of showers dropping to below 40%.
The prolonged rainfall has brought relief to dry areas but could lead to localized pooling or minor disruptions.
Authorities are urging residents to remain cautious and monitor weather updates as conditions evolve.
